Therapy dog helps stop a girl from jumping off a building
In a heart-warming incident, a dog has once again helped to save a young girl’s life. Who doesn’t love dogs? They are affectionate, loving, and kind and every day we come across more and more stories of how they help human beings.
This is why dogs are considered to be a person’s best companion, They have nothing but love to give, and can accompany you in your toughest times. Quite recently, Albany Police was able to save a young girl all thanks to a dog. The police got a call that a 14-year-old girl was about to jump off the roof of a building. The law enforcement rush to the scene and talked to the girl. After a few hours of effort, they came to learn that the young girl was actually really fond of dogs.
This light a bulb over their head, and they sent a therapy dog to the location. 6-month-old Charlie is a Goldendoodle and is one of the three dogs in the dog therapy program. Through him, they were able to get the girl away from the window for cuddles and the situation was deescalated. The girl was taken for help.
The little dog did a great job at saving the girl’s life. Hence, this in itself is a story of how therapy dogs are useful and on more than many occasions have managed to save lives. The bond between a human and an animal is different, it is deeper and purer.
Dogs are the best way to calm a stressful situation and they prove that again and again.
